Deconstructing the Screen Door: Intimate Partner Violence Assessment

WHEN: Monday, June 1, 2009, 9:00-12:30 with registration and sign-in and refreshments beginning at 8:30
WHERE: People's Food Coop Classroom, 315 5th Avenue South, La Crosse
WHAT to BRING: Participants are asked to bring any assessment/intake tools or strategies that they currently using in their work.
REGISTRATION FEE: $20.00 (Sorry for any inconvenience but we are unable to process credit/debit card payments.)
The training will help participants begin the process of getting away from utilizing "screening out" language and start the process of moving to "assessment" language to ensure safety and access for those who identify as part of the LGBTQI Community.
We will also have a LGBTQI panel sharing experiences.
