Three Years and Growing Strong

The LGBT Resource Center for the Seven Rivers Region Inc. was little more than a dream three years ago when a group of women began meeting and talking about it during the winter of 2003. Talk turned into action when the LGBT Resource Center was born with the creation of organizational bylaws which enabled the temporary Board of Directors to seek incorporation and nonprofit status (recognized as a charitable organization for tax purposes), granted in 2004.

Your membership during this fourth year of the Center's existence is crucial.

  1. Membership is a statement that you support the Center and its work.
  2. Memberships help our budget!
  3. Membership allows you to give back to the community.
  4. Membership helps make the Center more visible in the community
  5. Membership helps the Center provide ways for LGBT folks and allies to connect with others.
  6. Members can reserve the Center's space for events.
  7. Members are eligible to be elected to the Board of Directors and may vote on the business of the annual meeting.
