GALAXY Upcoming Events:

Wrap-A-Thon, December 2 & 9, 4-10p.m. at 309 Pearl Street.

NYE Lock-In at the Center, 309 Pearl Street, 8pm-8am. Movies, food, prizes, silly games, pictures, and more. Once you're in, you're in all night. No arrivals after 9:30p.m.

galaxy

 GALAXY is a group for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, and Questioning youth ages 13 to 20 who want to hang out with other LGBTQ teens and discuss issues relevant to LGBTQ teens. GALAXY creates a safe and drug free space where kids can freely discuss issues, participate in activities that allow them to become educated about important issues, and to just be who they are as unique spectacular individuals!

GALAXY meets:
Tuesdays from 4:00-6:00 p.m. and
Saturdays 2:00-4:00 p.m. at
309 Pearl Street, La Crosse, WI

Transgender/Gender Queer Gathering

Meets the first Wednesday of every month at 7 pm at the Center, 309 Pearl Street. All gender nonconforming persons welcome, transgender, transexual, gender queer, gender bender, and more welcome. If you are questioning, just beginning your transition, transitioned, or have changed your gender marker-everyone is welcome and vital to the group. Questions call, 608-784-0452.

Thursday Drop In Group

Meets every Thursday at 6-8 pm at the Center, 309 Pearl Street. An opportunity to make connections and socialize for those aged 18+. Activities can include animal relay races, movies, games, conversation, and much more. Questions contact 608-784-0452.

Monthly Out & About

A monthly opportunity for LGBTQQI people to participate in a group outing. The purpose is to increase a sense of community. As well as to potentially offer ways for newly out people and individuals new to the Tri-State area an opportunity to make connections. PFLAG

Parents, Friends, and Families of LGBTQ people meet to share their experiences, offer support, and learn together. For more information call the 7 Rivers LGBT Resource Center at 608-784-0452, or Lori, PFLAG Mom & current President at 608-790-5052.

GLENDA

Just as Glenda was Dorothy's support in Oz, this group is the equivalent for LGBT people struggling with drug, alcohol, and/or other addictions and issues. If you are looking for support and a safe place to be yourself as you deal with your drug & alcohol issues-please join us.

GLENDA meets the third Friday of every month from 6:00-7:00 PM.

GNO

GNO: Guy's Night Out meets the fourth Friday of every month from 6:00-8:00 PM. All male identified people are welcome! Come meet new people, have a good time, and enjoy yourself.

Lesbian Potluck

Meets bi-monthly at various locations, for more information contact the Center at 608-784-0452 or check this month's Enewsletter.

LGBT Parenting Group

Please call 608-784-0452 to sign up for the next session. This group is available when we have a minimum of four persons signed up.

 Topics covered will help participants with issues related to child rearing, discipline, development, and more. We will also talk about some of the joys and unique challenges with raising children in LGBT families in today's society.
